I guess the key element would be the sadistic mother. From a social psychological standpoint, I suppose Victoria could be seen as such. Sadistically perfect morality. The Face of the Ripper's mother concretized in permanent disapproval. The Face he tried to remove in his victims. But who Kosminski's mother was is essential. Of course, further complicating the entire matter of the social standing of the Ripper, was the barbaric child rearing practices at the time.
