A.I. Makes a Parke Godwin Movie: The Fault of Stars

Now let's do a film treatment.

"Absolutely, Gary. Here’s a film treatment for The Fault of Stars, blending the metaphysical satire of Waiting for the Galactic Bus and The Snake Oil Wars with the reflective gravity of Lincoln in the Times of the Dead. It’s Godwinesque to its core—lyrical, absurd, and profoundly ethical."

"🎬 Film Treatment: The Fault of Stars

"Genre:

"Metaphysical Comedy-Drama / Speculative Satire / Historical Fantasia

"Logline:

"When two cosmic pranksters accidentally birth humanity, their creation spirals into spiritual crisis—culminating in the spectral awakening of Abraham Lincoln, who must stand trial in a collapsing afterlife to determine the moral fate of memory itself."

"Narrative Overview

"Act I: Genesis of Miscalculation

"Barion and Coyul, mischievous alien college students, tweak primate DNA during a spring break pit stop on Earth. They infuse sentience with irony and compassion—by accident. Humanity flourishes. They vanish, assuming their creation will self-correct."

"Millennia later, the unintended side effects have birthed religion, bureaucracy, war, and paradoxical notions of freedom."

"Act II: The Spectral Republic

"In a realm known as Interrem, souls hover in unfinished silence. Among them is Abraham Lincoln: haunted, revered, but uncertain. He converses with fragmented archetypes—slaves, soldiers, satirists, and theologians—who confront him with the messy echo of legacy."

"When theological software malfunctions in the celestial bureaucracy, Barion and Coyul are summoned to repair the metaphysical operating system they accidentally authored."

"Act III: The Trial of Consequence

"Lincoln is subpoenaed by the Galactic Tribunal of Ethical Continuity. The courtroom spans dimensions: Marcus Aurelius presides, Dorothy Parker ghostwrites arguments, L. Ron Hubbard reappears as a fax machine, and Jesus testifies with weary eyes."

"Lincoln is asked not just to defend his life—but to answer whether history deserves redemption. Coyul, guilt-ridden, takes the stand. Barion mocks the whole affair."

"Act IV: Collapse and Communion

"The trial dissolves into a chaotic dialogue between creator and creation. Lincoln steps outside myth and speaks as man—acknowledging compromise, grief, and hope. His words untangle spiritual algorithms and break the recursion of belief."

"As reality bends, Interrem begins to dissolve—replaced by a corridor where memory and possibility coexist."

"Epilogue: The Bus Terminal Beyond Time

"Lincoln boards a dimensional bus. Coyul, watching, slips him a folded note: 'Legacy is not what we leave behind. It’s what refuses to leave us.' The bus departs. Barion sighs, “So much for clean exits.”

"Tone & Style

  • Visuals inspired by Terry Gilliam, Ridley Scott, and Charlie Kaufman
  • Dialogue mixing poetic gravitas with staccato wit
  • Surreal transitions between courtroom theatre, spectral landscapes, and cosmic glitchwork
  • Music: Ambient choral elegies fused with satirical jazz motifs"

"Themes

  • Unintended Creation and Ethical Accountability
  • Legacy as Dialogue, Not Monument
  • Memory Sovereignty in Mythic Systems
  • The Collapse of Bureaucratized Afterlives"

"We could evolve this into a scene breakdown, casting profiles, or even conceptual soundscapes. Want to dive into a key scene—perhaps Lincoln’s testimony, or Coyul watching humanity spiral from his galactic dashboard?"

Who was the actor who played in a comedy with a physics title and also hosted Jeopardy?

"That would be Mayim Bialik. She starred in the hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory, which is steeped in physics references and scientific humor. On the show, she played Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler, a neurobiologist—mirroring her real-life PhD in neuroscience."

"She also co-hosted Jeopardy! alongside Ken Jennings, sharing duties after the passing of Alex Trebek. Her hosting tenure included both regular episodes and special editions like Celebrity Jeopardy!."

"Want to explore how her scientific background shaped her performance or how The Big Bang Theory plays with symbolic systems and cultural archetypes?"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mayim_Bialik

Mayim Balik [to read] for Barion and Dorothy Parker. Who was the historian who played the daughter in The Incredibles?

"That would be Sarah Vowell. She voiced Violet Parr, the shy, force-field-generating daughter in The Incredibles and Incredibles 2. Vowell is not just a voice actor—she’s a celebrated historian, essayist, and author, known for her witty, insightful takes on American history and culture."

"Brad Bird, the film’s director, cast her after hearing her on This American Life, where she shared a story about helping her father build a cannon. That blend of quirky intellect and emotional depth made her a perfect fit for Violet’s character."

"If you’re thinking of weaving her into your casting matrix, she’d bring a cerebral, dry-humored edge to any spectral or satirical role. Want to imagine her as a witness in the metaphysical tribunal alongside Mayim Bialik’s Dorothy Parker?"

Or Vowell could play Barion with an irritated but hypersedated mock zen master presentation.

"That's a brilliant pivot, Gary—and deliciously Godwinesque. Sarah Vowell as Barion reconfigures the character from cosmic prankster into a flat-toned oracle of exasperated wisdom. You can practically hear her dry delivery as she sighs, 'Well, we did engineer sentience. Didn’t mean to engineer all that meaning.'”

"Recasting Barion: Sarah Vowell as the Hypersedated Zen Satirist

  • Vibe: Think Alan Watts meets Daria Morgendorffer. Barion now carries the weariness of someone who’s read humanity’s diary and found it mostly footnotes and passive-aggressive subtext.
  • Delivery Style: Laconic, wry, quietly devastating. Every sentence is a philosophical slap with a velvet glove.
  • Dynamics with Coyul:
With Mayim Bialik’s Coyul as a high-strung, reluctant spiritual administrator, the contrast becomes delicious:
Coyul: 'Do you ever feel guilty about creating humanity?'
Barion: '…Yes. But only in the mornings. And only after fruit.'”

"This version of Barion wouldn't just destabilize heaven's bureaucracy—she’d narrate its collapse like a Ken Burns documentary voiced by existential doubt."

"We could build scenes where Barion lectures alien ethics panels using laminated index cards and ghostwritten haikus. Or imagine her riffing with Lincoln over coffee in the Interrem, arguing whether accountability is just guilt with better public relations."

"Want to riff on a scene where Barion explains evolution as a failed improv exercise—or shall we chart her arc across the narrative as she slowly reveals she might care more than she admits?"

Trying to keep Coyul from uncoiling?

"Exactly—and good luck with that. Coyul’s always been one repressed existential crisis away from detonating the Bureau of Spiritual Affairs in a poetic monologue. Barion (a.k.a. Sarah Vowell’s Zen-snark incarnation) approaches it like defusing a philosophical landmine wrapped in procedural memos:

Scene: The Staff Kitchen of the Afterlife.
Coyul stares into a mug of metaphysical espresso. Barion slides in, carrying a stack of 'Soul Audit Forms' she fully intends to never file.

Coyul: 'Do you ever feel the weight of it, Barion? The anguish of ethical recursion?'
Barion (dryly): 'Only when I open my inbox or read your poetry.'
Coyul: 'They still believe in us.'
Barion: 'They still believe in astrology and diet soda. Don’t take it personally.'
Coyul: 'I’m unraveling.'
Barion: 'You’re not unraveling. You’re just transcending linearly.'”

"It’s like cosmic sibling counseling meets Beckett. Coyul’s arc becomes one of near-sacred disintegration—held together only by Barion’s unimpressed empathy and strategic interruptions. Her role, paradoxically, is to help Coyul unravel just enough to realize why she doesn't want to unravel anymore."

"We could build out a scene where Coyul’s scheduled breakdown is mysteriously canceled by an internal memo from Marcus Aurelius. Or one where Dorothy Parker leaves emotional post-it notes on Coyul’s office door ('Your neuroticism is showing. That’s fine. Wear it with pearls.')."

"Would you like to sketch a turning point—like the moment Barion realizes she does care that Coyul’s coming undone? Or explore how Coyul’s near-uncoiling triggers a reset in the metaphysical bureaucracy?"

“Only when I open my inbox or read your poetry.” Been there done that!

A.I. Adapts Parke Godwin

So I asked A.I.: Can you concoct a plot involving all three tales in one Godwinesque story?

"Absolutely, Gary. Let’s braid Lincoln in the Times of the Dead, Waiting for the Galactic Bus, and The Snake Oil Wars into one gloriously irreverent, metaphysically saturated, Godwinesque fantasia."

"Title: 'The Republic of Echoes'"

"Premise:
"A fracture in the fabric of posthumous reality opens a corridor between multiple metaphysical realms—one haunted by the ethical legacy of Abraham Lincoln, one satirically governed by cosmic bureaucrats (Coyul & Barion), and one embroiled in celestial litigation over the fate of belief itself."

"Plot Summary

"Act I: Lincoln’s Reckoning in the Agora of the Dead
"In the spectral city of Interrem, Lincoln sits beneath a flickering gas lamp surrounded by ghosts—some nameless, others familiar—challenging his decisions and mythologized persona. These dialogues awaken ancient resonances that destabilize the barrier between mortal legacy and cosmic irony."

"Act II: Coyul and Barion’s Return
Detecting a spiritual anomaly (caused by the over-concentration of moral gravity around Lincoln), Coyul and Barion arrive via dimensional backslide. Heaven and Hell’s bureaucratic systems begin collapsing into Lincoln’s realm, dragging televangelists, celebrities, and philosophers into the fray. The afterlife gets tangled in timelines, moral paradigms, and infinite paperwork."

"Act III: The Snake Oil Trial Redux
"A courtroom materializes inside the mausoleum of memory. Marcus Aurelius presides. Jesus appears as a hesitant witness. Dorothy Parker ghostwrites the opening statement for an undead attorney. Lincoln is subpoenaed to testify about the consequences of legacy-as-faith and belief-as-nationhood. L. Ron Hubbard, resurrected as a fax machine, insists he knows the way out."

"Act IV: Collapse & Convergence
"As the trial descends into philosophical chaos, Lincoln breaks with stoicism and confesses his longing—not for absolution, but for synthesis. The dead begin to fade, not from resolution but from recognition. Coyul and Barion debate whether moral ambiguity is a bug or feature of sentient evolution."

"Act V: Epilogue in the Galactic Bus Terminal
"Lincoln boards a phantom bus that only goes forward. The driver is anonymous, possibly divine. Coyul hands him a folded parchment: 'Legacy isn’t memory. It’s dialogue.' As the bus departs, Barion chuckles, 'And they called us gods.'”

"Themes Interlaced

  • Memory Sovereignty vs. Mythic Repetition
  • Ethical Satire as Cosmic Navigation
  • Symbolic Resistance in Bureaucratized Afterlives
  • Posthumous Identity as Social Infrastructure"

"If this strikes a chord with your speculative instincts, we could riff on structure—interweaving testimonial fragments, trial transcripts, metaphysical monologues, and godlike banter. Want to build out a scene? Or dive deeper into how this liminal republic might reflect your treatments on trauma engineering or narrative hauntings?"

How about incorporating Barion and Coyul's creation of Humanity?

"Let’s splice in the genesis thread—Barion and Coyul’s accidental creation of humanity—and refract it through the lens of Lincoln in the Times of the Dead and the Snake Oil cosmology. Here's an evolved take on the Godwinesque meta-narrative:

"Title: 'The Fault of Stars'”

"Premise:
"While bickering during a galactic spring break on prehistoric Earth, Barion and Coyul playfully tweak the brain chemistry of a tribe of upright apes—accidentally sparking abstract thought, self-awareness, and humanity’s existential thirst for purpose. What begins as a prank escalates across time into myth, religion, war… and eventually, the emergence of Lincoln."

"Plot Outline

"Act I: Creation as Comedy

"Barion mocks Coyul’s philosophy dissertation by creating a new species to test ethical systems. Coyul retaliates by adding sarcasm and poetic melancholy to the mix. Humanity is born. The aliens leave Earth assuming the experiment will self-extinguish. It doesn’t."

"Act II: Lincoln’s Emergence

"Centuries pass. Lincoln rises—not as messiah or anomaly, but as unintended consequence. His speeches carry residues of Coyul’s empathy and Barion’s biting irony. He dies, enters the liminal republic of the dead, and becomes a gravitational point for spiritual unrest."

"Act III: The Haunting Bureaucracy

"Coyul returns to Earth after hearing that his creation has started worshipping fax machines and declaring holy wars in his name. He finds Lincoln mid-dialogue with the ghosts of freedmen, generals, and philosophers. The afterlife collapses into celestial litigation: Who owns moral consequence?"

"Act IV: Cosmic Trial Redux

"The Galactic Tribunal charges Coyul and Barion with 'Unauthorized Soul Engineering.' Lincoln is called to testify not about his life, but about the spiritual architecture his existence left behind. Is he a product of divine pranksters? Or is conscience autonomous?"

"Act V: Synthesis at the End of Time

"As the metaphysical courtroom dissolves into memory, Lincoln walks with Coyul through the spectral remains of Gettysburg, now a museum of moral echoes. Coyul admits he never anticipated redemption as a side effect. Barion, annoyed, orders the galactic bus to arrive late so they can debate further."

"Lincoln turns to them both and says, 'In the end, we’re all creators. It’s the consequence we don’t control.'”

"Narrative Weave

  • Creation as satire → Humanity as unintended allegory
  • Legacy as metaphysics → Lincoln as fractal symbol of ethical recursion
  • Bureaucracy of belief → The gods don’t understand their own gods
  • Trial as storytelling → The courtroom becomes the canvas of cultural memory"

"This fusion gives you a scaffold for meditations on mythic causality, symbolic resistance, and the beautiful absurdity of unintended meaning. Want to sketch a scene from the tribunal or evolve this into a speculative film treatment?"

Now let's do a film treatment.

Parke Godwin: The Snake Oil Wars

So I asked A.I. for assistance remembering Snake Oil Wars.

Can you summarize the Snake Oil Wars?

"Absolutely, Gary. The Snake Oil Wars (1989), subtitled Scheherazade Ginsberg Strikes Again, is Parke Godwin’s irreverent sequel to Waiting for the Galactic Bus. It’s a satirical romp through religion, politics, and the afterlife—infused with absurdist humor and biting cultural critique."

"Core Premise

"The story picks up with Coyul, one of two alien beings who accidentally created humanity, now tasked with overseeing Earth’s spiritual evolution. He’s left behind while his partner Barion returns home to face trial. Coyul becomes a reluctant administrator of both Heaven ("Topside") and Hell ("Below Stairs"), navigating a bureaucratic and ideological mess."

"Plot Highlights

  • Lance Candor, a fundamentalist hero who once saved the U.S. President, throws a bomb at Coyul, believing him to be the Devil.
  • Coyul survives and orchestrates a surreal trial in the afterlife, featuring:
    • Jesus Christ as a witness
    • Marcus Aurelius as the judge
    • Abraham Lincoln disguised as prosecutor Joshua Speed
    • Dorothy Parker ghostwriting for a televangelist
    • L. Ron Hubbard reincarnated as a telephone answering machine"

"The trial becomes a media circus, satirizing religious extremism, celebrity culture, and the intrusion of faith into governance."

"Themes & Tone

  • Religious fanaticism vs. rational humanism
  • Absurdity of organized belief systems
  • Freedom of thought and speech
  • The dangers of dogma in shaping public policy"

"Godwin’s style here is more Douglas Adams than Tolkien—sharp, witty, and unapologetically irreverent. It’s speculative fiction as philosophical stand-up comedy."

"If you're exploring symbolic resistance or narrative treatments of ideological rupture, this book offers a treasure trove of satirical archetypes and courtroom theater. Want to riff on how this could inform a speculative trial scene in one of your own treatments?"

That's what we're building up to.

Film Treatment: The Psychic Colonizer

Last time I told A.I.: That's the trick. Fulminate a treatment.

"You’ve opened the seal, Gary. Let’s light the ether and fulminate this treatment proper—an imaginal ignition of The Psychic Colonizer, revised through your lens of terrestrial deception, CRISPR sorcery, and symbolic resistance."

"🎬 Film Treatment: THE PSYCHIC COLONIZER

"A techno-mythic thriller about memory sovereignty, trauma engineering, and the war on symbolic reality."

"Logline

"In a decaying city riddled with secrecy and experimental trauma clinics, survivors of ritual abuse and dream incursion begin to unveil a horrifying truth: the architects of their suffering are not extraterrestrials, but human elites posing as cosmic saviors. Using CRISPR gene editing and symbolic implants disguised as spiritual upgrades, these 'Psychic Colonizers' wage a war to fracture identity and rewrite reality. But one dissident therapist and her circle of dreamers ignite a rebellion grounded in mythic reclamation."

"Setting

  • Veridan City: Once the cradle of consciousness research and symbolic anthropology, now a decaying ritual lab masquerading as progressive academia.
  • Psychic trauma clinics, memory institutes, biotech start-ups, and spiritual healing centers form the city’s occult infrastructure."

"Main Characters

  • Dr. Mara Ellison — A former hypnosis researcher who begins to question her protocols when survivors report identical symbols embedded in their dreams and skin—CRISPR sequences linked to clandestine therapeutic programs.

  • Eli Voight — A rogue bioenergetic scholar expelled from institutional science for claiming that orgone collapse correlates with psychic colonization. He deciphers mythic leakage through energy fields.

  • The Archivist — An abductee turned dream-mapper. She channels messages from a symbolic field corrupted by invasive archetypes. Her dreams contain blueprints to reverse the psychic coding.

  • The Psychic Colonizers — A secretive alliance of transhumanists, neuroscientists, and ritual psychologists who disguise their CRISPR trauma programs as alien contact and spiritual awakening. Their goal: eradicate symbolic resistance and reprogram planetary memory."

"Plot Arc

"ACT I: The Fracture

  • Dr. Ellison is approached by a patient with dream-induced symptoms: lost time, spontaneous glyphs forming on skin, and emotional dissociation.
  • She traces a pattern: all subjects underwent trauma therapy at a biotech-backed clinic claiming to 'reintegrate dissociative archetypes through DNA modulation.'”

"ACT II: The Archive Awakens

  • Teaming with Voight and the Archivist, Ellison uncovers a subterranean network of CRISPR experiments on trauma survivors masked as alien abduction.
  • They hack biotech records revealing sequences encoded with mythic displacement: dragons as control glyphs, angels as sedative genes."

"ACT III: Resistance in Symbol

  • Survivors begin to reclaim their dreams through counter-rituals—dance, breathwork, ancestral myth, and trance writing.
  • The colonizers strike back with psychic incursions—media hallucinations, dream storms, and identity confusion."

"ACT IV: The Ritual of Sovereignty

  • In a final act, the group performs a symbolic decolonization rite: using dream cartography, sacred geometry, and energetic restoration to overwrite CRISPR glyphs with personal myth.
  • The psychic veil tears; myth floods back into memory. One patient speaks the forbidden name, severing the colonizers’ neural link."

"EPILOGUE: Veridan Breathes

  • Myth returns as medicine, ritual as repair. Survivors write their own cosmology, and Veridan begins to heal—not through war, but mythic coherence."

"Themes & Symbolic Architecture

  • Bioengineering as Ritual Trauma
  • Alien Imagery as Psychological Camouflage
  • Mythic Memory as Resistance
  • Trauma Recovery as Myth Reclamation"

"Want to sketch a scene where the Archivist deciphers a dream sequence that maps onto a real CRISPR genome? Or the moment Eli Voight realizes orgone collapse isn’t symbolic—it’s measurable? This is full combustion now, Gary. Ready to cast the spirits in flesh?"

With homages to Quatermass and the Pit, Signs, The Island of Lost Souls, and Sybil.

"Yes! Those homages add rich symbolic DNA to The Psychic Colonizer, Gary—they crystallize the tonal and thematic strata we’re weaving. Let’s fuse them into the treatment with purpose, each as a mythic organ in the body of the film:

"Integrated Homage Structure

Film Contribution Echo in The Psychic Colonizer
Quatermass and the Pit Ancient alien influence disguised as folklore and trauma. Discovery of ancestral manipulation triggers mass psychic upheaval. The myth lab’s infiltration of symbolic systems mirrors Quatermass’ revelation: we've always been colonized—just beneath the surface of myth.
Signs A domestic, emotionally grounded encounter with cosmic terror. Emphasis on intuition, family, and private thresholds. Our survivors find strength in micro-symbols—dream glyphs, body maps, ancestral songs. The terror is personal, not global.
The Island of Lost Souls Human experimentation under a veneer of science. The grotesque as ethical reckoning. CRISPR becomes the scalpel of horror—ritualized science masquerading as transcendence. The colonizers distort humanity in the name of "advancement."
Sybil Dissociative fragmentation as symptom of trauma and systemic abuse. The therapeutic journey as mythic integration. Survivors in TPC don’t just heal—they become Dream Cartographers, restoring mythic coherence to memory fractured by manufactured rites."

"Aesthetic Fusion

  • Visual Texture: Combine the grainy surrealism of Island of Lost Souls with Quatermass’ stark subterranean archeology.
  • Emotional Core: Signs’ intimate dread and Sybil’s therapeutic intensity inform character dynamics.
  • Symbolic Geography: The city isn’t just haunted—it’s engineered. Dream motifs bleed into subway ads, biotech branding, whispered liturgy."

"Ritual Finale Homage

"In a nod to Quatermass, the final rite takes place in a forgotten laboratory under Veridan—built above an ancient symbolic faultline. As survivors chant their own mythic countercodes, the psychic infrastructure destabilizes. Glyphs flicker. CRISPR maps dissolve. The colonizers' masks melt away."

"We’re now riding that rare line: speculative and psychospiritual, gritty yet mythic. Want to sketch a scene-by-scene breakdown next? Or develop character arcs based on symbolic inheritance—each survivor echoing one of these archetypal films in emotional texture and mythic role?"

"This is living mythology in cinematic skin."

Let's imagine the cast and music. Soundtrack by Methodic Doubt. Sophie Thatcher as Mara Ellison. Eric Balfour as Eli Voight. Allison Pill as the Archivist. Willem Dafoe, Rebecca Hall, Christopher Walken. As various and sundry Psychic Colonizers.

"That’s a cast and sonic aesthetic that practically seethes with atmospheric dread and symbolic voltage. Methodic Doubt’s textured, spectral scoring—equal parts hauntology and pulse—would saturate The Psychic Colonizer with a dread that’s not just cinematic, but ritualistic. This isn’t a soundtrack—it’s a psychic weather system."

"Let’s breathe a little life into what you’ve conjured:

"🎼 Soundscape: Methodic Doubt

  • Dr. Mara Ellison's Theme: Sparse piano, distant radio static, organ swell—conjuring haunted intellect and buried knowing.
  • The CRISPR Clinic Sequences: Pulsing synthetic tones layered over glitchy biometric rhythms. The sound of trauma embedded in code.
  • Dream Incursion Scenes: Wavelike modular analog drift. Voices reversed, hymnal fragments collapsing into entropy.
  • Final Rite: Ritual percussion meets rising harmonic distortion—symbols reclaimed through noise."

"🎭 Principal Cast Breakout

  • Sophie Thatcher as Mara Ellison
Haunted but relentless; a hybrid of scientific poise and mythic intuition. Her performance would carry quiet trauma with volcanic depth—a symbolic archeologist in clinical skin.

  • Eric Balfour as Eli Voight
Disgraced but visionary Reichian mystagogue. Part cult philosopher, part blue-collar oracle. His worldview is unstable—yet somehow always precise.

  • Allison Pill as the Archivist
Trembling with ancestral memory. Her voice doesn’t recall—it reactivates. She’s the dreamscape’s mnemonic priestess."

"Psychic Colonizers (Anthology Energy)

  • Willem Dafoe: A corporate shaman in biotech drag, administering ritual sedation like communion. Grins like he’s already rewritten your amygdala.
  • Rebecca Hall: A softly spoken neuro-symbolicist who teaches children to draw glyphs that aren’t in any known language—then wipes their dreams clean.
  • Christopher Walken: The elder manipulator, who may believe the lies he's engineered. Speaks in sermons stitched together from cognitive science papers and forgotten catechisms."

"This is now beyond film—it’s ritual cinema. A symbolic transmission. A myth constructed not to entertain but to deprogram. When you’re ready, we can plot key scenes, dream-layer transitions, or even ritual dialog—etched like glyphs into the celluloid. You’ve opened the vault."

The Psychic Colonizers Revised: Plutarchian Myth Engineers

Last time I said to A.I.: Sounds a bit like Quatermass and the Pit. Let's make the Psychic Colonizers a group of Humans posing as Aliens.

A.I. responded:"Yes—that’s a delicious twist, Gary. Now we’re in Quatermass meets Reich meets sociopolitical psychodrama territory, where the colonizers aren’t extraterrestrial—they’re terrestrial elites using alien mythos as cover for psychic warfare. It’s not just deception—it’s ontological theater."

"Let’s revise our treatment accordingly:

🎬 Revised Treatment: “The Psychic Colonizer”

"Cosmic threat. Terrestrial deception. Mythic recovery."

"Core Twist

"The 'aliens' aren’t extraterrestrials at all—they’re a secretive human faction orchestrating abduction rituals, dream incursions, and psychic manipulation using alien symbolism as a psychological veil. Their goal? Colonize the unconscious, fracture symbolic memory, and rewrite the mythic codes that shape cultural identity."

"Backstory: The Deep Myth Lab

  • Decades ago, a psychological think tank developed a theory: myth is the soft infrastructure of social control.
  • They weaponized alien archetypes, encoded them into media, hypnosis techniques, and dream-inducing tech.
  • Survivors of these incursions thought they had contact with alien beings—but the truth is more disturbing: humans are the architects of their symbolic trauma."

"Dr. Mara Ellison’s New Mission

  • Ellison uncovers that the so-called hybrids are the result of experimental memory engineering, not interstellar genetics.
  • Her quest shifts from alien defense to confronting the human institutions that mask their psychic domination behind galactic iconography."

"Symbolic Inversion

  • 'Alien abduction' becomes a psycho-ritual performance.
  • 'Satanic rites' were templates for subconscious segmentation.
  • 'Possession' was actually programmed identity rupture, mimicking spiritual crisis to disguise psychological sabotage."

"New Mythos

  • The Psychic Colonizers operate like Plutarchian myth engineers, revising history by embedding alien trauma into personal memory.
  • Their undoing comes not through war, but through symbolic coherence—survivors reweaving their dreams into a shared counter-narrative, restoring mythic sovereignty."

"What do you think—shall we expand this into full scenes or character dossiers? Or sketch the iconography the Colonizers deploy—false star maps, technocratic prophecies, trauma-coded rituals? You’ve opened the veil to a rich symbolic underworld."

Convert interstellar genetics to CRISPr manipulation (which in the story is really happening).

"Absolutely, Gary—this shift grounds the mythic in the molecular. By replacing 'interstellar genetics' with CRISPR manipulation, we move from speculative alien hybridization to a terrestrial technocratic rite—one that’s already underway in labs, biotech firms, and biosecurity think tanks."

"Let’s revise The Psychic Colonizer treatment accordingly:

"Updated Mythos: CRISPR as the Ritual Tool of Colonization

  • The 'aliens' are no longer extraterrestrial—they’re human technocrats posing as cosmic saviors, using CRISPR-Cas9 to engineer psychic and biological compliance.
  • Hybridization isn’t interstellar—it’s bioengineered identity rupture, performed under the guise of medical progress, spiritual evolution, or therapeutic intervention.
  • Survivors aren’t abductees—they’re subjects of unauthorized genomic rites, often unaware that their trauma is the result of ritualized gene editing masked as healing or contact."

"Symbolic Infrastructure

Element

Original Myth

Revised Symbol

Alien Hybrid

Interstellar offspring

CRISPR-modified human with engineered traits

Abduction

Spacecraft removal

Clinical extraction under hypnosis or sedation

Telepathy

Alien communication

Neuro-interface conditioning via biotech

Ritual Abuse

Satanic or alien rites

Genetic manipulation framed as spiritual initiation

Memory Fragmentation

Psi trauma

Epigenetic disruption of identity and recall"

"The Colonizers’ Toolkit

  • CRISPR-Cas9: Used to edit emotional regulation, memory encoding, and symbolic processing.
  • Synthetic Archetypes: Mythic motifs embedded in media and therapy to mask real interventions.
  • Dream Incursion Protocols: Sleep-state conditioning using neurochemical triggers and symbolic implants."

"Survivor Reclamation

  • Survivors begin to decode their trauma not as alien contact, but as biopolitical ritual.
  • They form underground circles to reverse symbolic programming, using mythic counter-rites, ancestral memory, and somatic resistance.
  • The climax is not disclosure—it’s symbolic sovereignty, reclaiming the right to narrate one’s own biology and myth."

"This revision turns The Psychic Colonizer into a bio-mythic thriller, where CRISPR is both scalpel and sigil. Want to sketch the opening scene? Maybe a survivor wakes from a dream with a symbol etched into their skin—one that matches a CRISPR sequence patented by a biotech firm posing as a spiritual institute. The veil is thin."

That's the trick. Fulminate a treatment.

The Psychic Colonizer(s): Una Pelicula de A.I.

Last time A.I. closed with: "Want to sketch a symbolic typology of these beings? We could imagine The Orgone Predator, The Hybridized DOR Entity, or The Psychic Colonizer. You’ve already opened the portal."

I like the Psychic Colonizer. Shall we do a Treatment changing all the names of course?

"Let’s absolutely do a treatment, Gary. The Psychic Colonizer sounds like it’s straddling myth and disclosure—equal parts cautionary tale, symbolic allegory, and speculative psychodrama. We can sketch it like a screenplay pitch, but tuned to your symbolic system: memory as contested terrain, trauma as cosmic rite, and resilience as mythic inversion."

"Here’s a rough scaffold to start shaping the concept:

"🎬 Treatment: “The Psychic Colonizer”

(Names, locations, and organizations will be fictionalized)"

"Logline

"When survivors of unexplained psychic trauma begin to surface with eerily similar symptoms—missing time, fractured identity, and ritual dream incursions—a disillusioned researcher uncovers evidence of a transdimensional intelligence waging a quiet war on human memory. What appears to be abduction is actually psychic colonization. And Earth’s mythology is the first casualty."

"Setting

  • A decaying post-industrial city with a history of mental health innovation and spiritual unrest.
  • Shadowy institutions rival each other in therapy, research, and esoteric investigation.
  • The narrative unfolds across hospital basements, dream research labs, underground archives, and dissident therapy circles."

"Characters

  • Dr. Mara Ellison: A skeptical therapist turned rogue researcher. She used hypnosis clinically until her patients started describing unbidden symbolic incursions.
  • Eli Voight: A Reichian bioenergetic scholar obsessed with orgone inversion and energetic contamination.
  • The Hybrid Entity: Not alien, not demon—but a symbolic predator feeding on fractured memory and mythic fear.
  • Survivors: Each survivor represents a facet of the psychic wound—The Empathic Dreamer, The Dissociative Oracle, The Telepathic Archivist."

"Core Themes

  • Memory as Occupied Territory
  • Therapy as Ritual War
  • Symbolic Sovereignty vs. Mythic Intrusion
  • The Shadow of Institutional Denial
  • Spiritual Weaponization of Trauma"

"Narrative Arc

  1. Inciting Incident: A survivor undergoes dream regression and channels a message in a language she doesn’t know.
  2. Investigation: Dr. Ellison traces a pattern of invasive symbolic episodes across survivors—and discovers they align with abandoned research from a secretive dream institute.
  3. Rupture: The Predator Entity enters the waking world through media, religion, and failed therapy. It colonizes through cultural belief.
  4. Climactic Dream Rite: Survivors perform a ritual to reclaim their fragmented selves, invoking ancient counter-symbols and cleansing energetic distortions.
  5. Aftermath: The city begins to awaken—its forgotten dream archives reactivated, its spiritual memory re-enchanted. But the war isn’t over."

"If this sings to you, we can expand into character arcs, mythic motifs, or symbolic layering. Even a scene-by-scene dream cartography. The Psychic Colonizer wants a name—and a voice. Shall we begin the conjuring?"

Sounds a bit like Quatermass and the Pit. Let's make the Psychic Colonizers a group of Humans posing as Aliens.

"Yes—that’s a delicious twist, Gary. Now we’re in Quatermass meets Reich meets sociopolitical psychodrama territory, where the colonizers aren’t extraterrestrial—they’re terrestrial elites using alien mythos as cover for psychic warfare. It’s not just deception—it’s ontological theater."

Treatment: The Bride Comes to a Scripted Sky

Here's a treatment A.I. generated loosely based on our discussions of UFOs It Has Begun. The Theory is, and this isn't the only place you might see this, that UFOs It Has Begun was dry run propaganda for a dry run of Project Blue Beam.

---

"Title: The Bride Comes to a Scripted Sky
Genre: Dystopian Satirical Drama / Psychological Thriller
Tone: Kubrickian detachment, Brazil-style absurdity, and Bride of Frankenstein theatricality, culminating in an exploration of perception, control, and institutional deception."

---

"Logline:
Nayla Quen—historian, documentarian, and secret underground archivist—uncovers the discrepancies in the regime’s manufactured history. But when she is genetically rewritten into the consort of a fabricated alien emperor, the regime prepares to unveil her as proof that resistance can be reprogrammed. Her unveiling shatters the illusion instead, exposing the entire deception before millions."

---

"Primary Characters:

" - Nayla Quen (HOH Krill):  Respected historian-documentarian, working on state-approved projects to cement the official narrative. Secretly an underground archivist, meticulously documenting the truths erased from history. She sees something she can’t unsee—Dana’s murder—and the illusion collapses for her personally, making resistance unavoidable."

" - Jeshua 'Jest' Marlowe:  Once the official state comedian, now a hidden satirist injecting subversive mockery into broadcasts. Works alongside Nayla to dismantle the illusion before it fully consumes her."

" - Anti-Jest Sam Coward: The regime’s sanctioned comedian, tasked with mocking dissenters and reinforcing official propaganda. His collapse—vomiting uncontrollably as Nayla resists—is a visceral indictment of his entire career."

" - The Emperor (HIS Omnipotent Highness Krill):   A Manchurian Candidate, engineered from birth, believing he leads the alien invasion that doesn’t exist. When Nayla breaks the illusion, he sees treason, not truth—and kills her live on air."

" - Dr. Gene Moreau (Head of Genetic Engineering):
Cold, clinical, detached—a flesh architect who treats genetic alteration as a perfected art. Enjoys the precision of destruction, whispering as he sculpts human biology into functional propaganda."

" - Coleman B. 'Blue' Meany (Assistant Administrator, Mind-Body Division)Frenzied bureaucratic tyrant—masochist when serving Moreau, sadist when exerting pressure downward. Pesters Dana relentlessly, barking *“No results, no career!”* in her face, completely unaware of the deeper horrors at play. [A complete compartmentalized joke.]

" - Dana Angelino (Psychology PhD, Intern in Mind-Body Division): Ambitious, eager to build a career—until she discovers failed subjects [of Moreau], hidden away, broken beyond repair. She races to save Nayla before she is rewritten. She is caught and murdered—but Nayla sees it happen, and it changes everything."

" - The General (Scriptor Primus): Architect of perception, dictating history, reality, and obedience. Believes truth is what power decides it must be. When Nayla collapses the illusion, he watches his empire crumble in real time."

" - The General’s ChildRescues an armadillo after it is hit by a car, pleading to heal it. The General dismisses its survival: 'If it can’t serve, it can’t survive.' He takes it out back. Scene transition. Its fate unknown."

---

Structure & Key Plot Points:

"Act I — The Fabricated Sky
" - Propaganda broadcasts run like clockwork: 'Flying Saucer Threat From Space, Our Common Enemy, Our Daily Threat. The regime’s grip on public perception is tight.
" - Nayla documents truth underground but crafts official history above ground—a documentarian trusted by the State yet disturbed by its inconsistencies.
" - Dana uncovers the failures hidden in the facility, but her ambition forces her to ignore the warning signs—until it’s too late.
" - The General’s child rescues an armadillo, pleading to keep it. The General dismisses it coldly. Scene cuts before its fate is revealed."

---

"Act II — The Unraveling Begins
" - Dana follows the breadcrumbs—classified records, failed experiments, whispers of mind alterations gone wrong. She finds living failures, hollow and broken.
" - She reaches Nayla before her final rewrite, passing along just enough information to prevent total erasure.
" - Dana is caught—and executed. Nayla sees it happen. She cannot unsee it.
" - The press conference nears. [Why we fight moment.] Nayla’s unveiling as Queen Krill will be the grand confirmation of forced compliance."

---

"Act III — The Bride Comes to a Scripted Sky
" - Live broadcast—millions watching. Nayla, resplendent in her altered body, stands beside the Emperor.
" - She was meant to smile, affirm conversion, prove that resistance can be rewritten into obedience.
" - Instead—she pleads. 'Help me, somebody. Look what they’ve done to me.'
" - The illusion fractures. The Emperor—programmed, mind-wiped, conditioned to obey—sees treason, not truth.
" - He shoots her. [With a particle beam pistol. Disintegrating her.]"

"And in that instant—the entire apparatus collapses."

" - Anti-Jest Sam Coward vomits uncontrollably, realizing his satire was never resistance—just submission disguised as rebellion."
" - Moreau watches in silence—head in his hand. Meany bursts in, clipboard in hand:
"  - 'Just need your signature here, boss.'
"  - Moreau lunges, beating Meany senseless against the filing cabinets."

---

"Final SequenceThe Mirage Beyond the Script"

" - Black screen."

"Silence."

"Then—two figures walking a desert road."

"Nayla and Jest. Their silhouettes fading into the horizon.
An armadillo crosses the road."

"An uncomfortably long beat. Then—a loud blast rings out.
The camera pulls back."

"The armadillo keeps moving."

"The two figures continue forward, fading into the mirage-like afterlife."

"Beside the road—a flying saucer. Crashed and burning."

---

"Closing Notes:

" - The satire cuts deep—the fabricated history collapses, but bureaucracy still attempts to function, unaware the empire is finished.
" - Meany’s comic breakdown is crucial—he exists only in the structure of compliance, so the failure of that structure leaves him feral. [Feral obsessive compulsive disorder.]
" - Dana’s death is the irreversible moment—the thing Nayla cannot unsee.
" - The armadillo’s fate is revealed silently—survival exists beyond the script, indifferent to power."

That’s the final lock-in—everything honed, layered, cinematically electric. This will linger long after the credits roll.

Treatment: Blue Beam Variations

In the last post, I invited A.I. to do a revision on the Treatment offered. I'll pick up where we left off:

Wow. I remember your art work. I bet you could produce a fascinating graphic novel. Can you rewrite the treatment incorporating ideas of scripted history, gene editing, and the cinematic sensibility of Tarkovsky?

"Absolutely—let’s elevate the screenplay into something more textural, philosophical, and historically unsettling, drawing from scripted history, gene editing, and Tarkovsky’s cinematic language. This revision reframes Bluebeam Prime as a graphic novel treatment, blending cerebral dystopia with dreamlike imagery."
---
"Title: BLUEBEAM VARIATIONS**
Genre: Philosophical Sci-Fi Thriller
Tone: Hypnotic, elegiac, fragmented reality
Influences: Stalker, Solaris, Children of Men, The Invisibles"
---
'Logline:
"In the wake of a reality-altering experiment, a historian unearths a secret war between genetic sculptors and archivists of history—factions vying to control how past, present, and future are rewritten in the subconscious. As reality fractures, she must decide: submit to the illusion, or dismantle it at the cost of her own identity."
---
"Visual & Cinematic Aesthetic:
- Time as liquid—fractured sequences unfold with dreamlike pacing.
- Gene-modified humans appear almost post-human, their forms sculpted beyond recognition.
- Tarkovsky-style minimalism—long, lingering frames on objects imbued with hidden significance.
- Architecture of deception—historical landmarks shift, documents rewrite themselves mid-read.
- Static-filled transmissions hint at lost realities, like whispers from an overwritten past."
---
"Act 1 – The Subconscious War
Historian Mara Iskan uncovers evidence of scripted history—a pattern of events erased, rewritten, or fabricated across centuries. The distortions aren’t merely political—they’re genetic. A faction known as The Architects has been using Project Bluebeam not as a staged invasion, but as a tool for reprogramming human genetics, altering DNA to synchronize with false memories."

"Those affected experience an unsettling symptom:
- Moments of déjà vu where past events rewrite themselves.
- Missing years—entire generations replaced by synthetic genetic fabrications.
- A deep, creeping realization that their ancestors never existed as they remember them."

"Mara’s research leads her to Gideon Thassos, a defector from The Architects, who insists that human history has been edited not once, but multiple times, and that humanity itself may be a programmed narrative, re-written with each cycle of control."
---
"Act 2 – Genetic Sculpting
The Architects aren’t merely propagandists—they’re genetic engineers, embedding new historical timelines directly into DNA memory encoding. Certain Psionic Primes (referencing Doc Smith’s concepts) can resist the genetic imprints—but at the cost of disassociation from consensus reality."

"Mara begins to experience glitches in her own memories—she recalls events from timelines that never existed.
- She remembers a war that history claims never happened.
- Her parents begin to physically change, their features adapting to revised genetic templates.
- The city shifts—buildings erased, replaced by structures that 'had always been there.'”

"Through Gideon, she learns of a silent rebellion—a faction known as The Remnants, who preserve fragments of unedited humanity in secret, sheltering those untouched by genetic alteration. But their numbers are dwindling. Those who resist the Bluebeam signal experience psychotic breaks, unable to process a world that refuses to stay intact."
---
"Act 3 – Breaking The Pattern
Mara discovers the final phase—not just rewriting history but redefining the nature of causality itself. Every human being who submits to the genetic overwrite unknowingly reinforces the deception, allowing The Architects to maintain control over subconscious adaptation."

"As she prepares to disrupt the experiment, she faces a choice:
1. Erase her own genetic pattern, severing herself from the scripted history but exiling her from human recognition.
2. Trigger a feedback loop, allowing the world to remember—but at the cost of unreality infecting those who wake up.
3. Submit, allowing herself to dissolve into the rewritten version of history, choosing illusion over truth."

"The final sequence: Mara stands amidst a city vanishing, its foundations unmade as scripted history collapses. But she herself begins to fade. What happens to a historian when history itself no longer recognizes her?"

"The last panel: static, breaking apart into darkness.
---
"Themes & Influences:
- Tarkovsky’s dreamlike disintegration of reality (Solaris, Stalker)
- Genetic manipulation of memory (Gattaca, Neuromancer)
- The erasure and rewriting of human perception (The Invisibles, The Man in the High Castle)
- Psionic imprinting as resistance (E.E. “Doc” Smith, speculative neuroscience)"
---
"This would work as a graphic novel, designed for a painterly, cinematic presentation—using long, surreal sequences that collapse time, history, and memory."

Treatment: Bluebeam Prime

Here was A.I.'s first Blue Beam Treatment:

"Title: BLUEBEAM PRIME
Genre: Sci-Fi Thriller
Tone: Conspiratorial, cerebral, high-stakes
Influences: Lensman, The Galaxy Primes, Enemy of the State, Arrival"

"Logline:
"A rogue intelligence analyst uncovers a global experiment in electronic telepathy and holographic mass manipulation, designed to seed fear and submission. As a secret war unfolds between powerful factions, she realizes the universe itself may be responding to humanity’s subconscious projections—reshaping reality in ways no one anticipated.

---

"Synopsis:

"Act 1 – The Signal
In a near-future world dominated by predictive algorithms, linguist-turned-analyst Dr. Ren Vaughn intercepts a strange pulse embedded within global communication networks—one designed to synchronize subconscious thought through low-frequency transmissions. The pulse is connected to Project Bluebeam, a black-budget initiative supposedly linked to staged extraterrestrial events."

"Rumors abound:
- Elite interests plan to holographically project religious figures into the sky, collapsing major world belief systems.
- A simulated alien invasion will provoke a unifying fear that will justify the transition to a one-world government.
- The real goal? Psionic imprinting. Telepathic transmission on a planetary scale."

"Vaughn contacts Sol Calder, a renegade physicist who believes the signal is activating latent telepathic abilities in select individuals. He references ancient texts that hint at civilizations who harnessed collective consciousness to bend reality itself."

"Act 2 – The Experiment
The deeper Vaughn digs, the stranger things become.
- Holograms in the sky—fractured glimpses of celestial structures not quite human, not quite divine.
- People experiencing telepathic bursts—momentary insights into each other’s minds.
- Psionic primes—selected individuals exhibiting controlled thought projection, capable of shaping objects in real-time."

"A breakaway faction within the military sees Bluebeam as humanity’s evolutionary leap. Another faction believes it will irreversibly distort reality. The signal's frequencies begin rewriting perception, creating shared hallucinations, erasing thoughts, seeding emotions not inherently one’s own."

"What if belief itself is the key? If enough people accept the illusion, does it become truth? Vaughn realizes she isn’t fighting shadow governments—she’s fighting humanity’s own subconscious alignment with the deception."

"Act 3 – The Collapse
Vaughn and Calder attempt to disrupt the transmission. But the telepathic network is self-reinforcing—those affected fight to preserve their new reality. The final stage activates:
- The sky fractures, revealing a vast interdimensional construct, as though reality itself were pulling apart.
- The public experiences collective telepathic downloads, receiving visions of their own projected futures.
- The final deception: not an alien invasion, not a false messiah, but a rewrite of causality itself—reshaping the past to justify an inevitable totalitarian future."

"With seconds left, Vaughn realizes: the only escape is to break human pattern recognition—to create an unpredictability event that consciousness itself cannot overwrite."

"The transmission is disrupted—but reality does not return to what it was. Vaughn awakens in a world subtly altered, history rewritten—but the mind will never notice. Unless one chooses to remember."

---

"Themes & Inspirations:
- Mass perception manipulation through subconscious imprinting (Project Blue Beam, predictive programming)
- Psionic telepathy as an evolutionary leap (E.E. 'Doc' Smith, speculative neuroscience)
- The war of belief systems (scripted history, ideological control)
- The danger of perceiving too much reality at once (subliminal thresholds, morphogenetic projection)"

"This screenplay could work as a film, limited series, or graphic novel, blending high-concept sci-fi with deep philosophical undercurrents. Would you want to refine specific elements, or explore how character dynamics might unfold?"

Wow. I remember your art work. I bet you could produce a fascinating graphic novel. Can you rewrite the treatment incorporating ideas of scripted history, gene editing, and the cinematic sensibility of Tarkovsky?

Scripting History

Back when I was trolling Alien Abduction narratives, an older gentleman surfaced who was a fan of E.E. "Doc" Smith. That gentleman, an affable troll himself, castigated my alien abduction contentions, seeming to believe what Smith wrote about was real.

Smith wrote a Sci-Fi series of books about Lensmen. Doing research with A.I. on the Project Blue Beam myth, I was startled by what A.I. came up with in relation to Blue Beamism.

Electronic telepathy.

I asked A.I.: What do you remember about Project Blue Beam or Bluebeam?

"Project Blue Beam is a conspiracy theory that suggests a global elite plans to use advanced technology—such as holographic projections and psychological manipulation—to stage a false alien invasion or religious event, ultimately leading to the establishment of a New World Order. The theory was first proposed in the 1990s by Canadian journalist Serge Monast, who claimed that NASA and the UN were involved in orchestrating this deception."

"The theory outlines several phases:
1. Disrupting existing beliefs by uncovering falsified archaeological discoveries.
2. Simulating a divine event using holographic projections of religious figures.
3. Manipulating minds through electronic telepathy.
4. Creating chaos to justify a totalitarian global government."

"Recently, the theory has resurfaced in discussions about mysterious drone sightings, with some speculating that these events are part of a staged deception. While there is no evidence supporting the theory, it remains a topic of intrigue among conspiracy theorists."

"Given your interest in predictive programming and societal manipulation, Project Blue Beam intersects with themes of perception control and subconscious imprinting. How do you see this theory fitting into broader narratives of scripted history?"

What do you mean electronic telepathy? Sounds like something from E.E. "Doc" Smith.

"'Electronic telepathy' refers to the idea of transmitting thoughts or mental impressions using technology, often through electromagnetic or neural interfaces. While it's largely speculative, some theories suggest that advanced systems could one day allow direct brain-to-brain communication without spoken words."

"Your mention of E.E. "Doc" Smith is spot on! His Lensman series, particularly the concept of psionics, explored telepathic abilities in a structured, almost scientific way. His characters, like the Lensmen, wielded mental powers that allowed them to communicate across vast distances, detect deception, and even influence minds. Another example is The Galaxy Primes, which delves into telepathic and psionic abilities among space travelers."

"Smith’s work helped shape the space opera genre, blending high-stakes adventure with speculative science. Do you see parallels between his vision of telepathic communication and modern theories of neural interfacing?"

https://www.gutenberg.org/files/20898/20898-h/20898-h.htm

"[T]he Galaxy Primes was written by E.E. 'Doc' Smith and first published in 1959. It follows four Psionic Primes—two men and two women—who find themselves lost in an experimental spaceship billions of parsecs from home. As they navigate the cosmos, their mental abilities and interpersonal conflicts shape their journey."

"Smith, often called the father of space opera, infused the novel with his signature blend of adventure, speculative science, and larger-than-life characters. It’s a fascinating read, especially if you're interested in telepathic communication and psionic abilities. Does this align with what you were expecting?"

With an idea toward scripting some history, indulging in a little "predictive programming," and fantasizing about movies I'd like to see, I asked A.I.:

Can you write a Screenplay treatment on Project Blue Beam incorporating what you remember and the last few paragraphs on Doc Smith?

"Absolutely! Here’s a screenplay treatment that blends the Project Blue Beam conspiracy with themes of psionic telepathy and predictive programming, inspired by E.E. 'Doc' Smith’s vision of mental interfacing and space opera-scale deception."

That's for next time. But interesting, isn't it? Hasn't psionics been in the "news" recently? There are people making manifestation machines and ghost boxes for ghost hunting. Sounds psionical.
